YOUR LIST. YOUR NEXT MOVE.
Add 2–100 options, one per line. A short label is easier to read on the wheel.
Click the centre or the big Spin button. Press Space when you are outside a text field.
Keep the result, remove it for the next round, or share the wheel with someone else.
A LITTLE LESS INDECISION
Some choices deserve a spreadsheet. Others just need a nudge. This random wheel picker turns your list into a colourful wheel, whether you are choosing the next game, taking turns in class, or picking one idea from a very long brainstorm.
Write one option on each line, give the wheel a title, and press Spin. Every line gets an equal slice. Keep the selected option for another round, or remove it when everyone should have a turn. Your list and recent results stay in this browser, so you can come back to them.
Start with a situation you recognise. A useful wheel contains choices you can actually act on, with a clear question in the title.
Everyone has a different suggestion and nobody wants to choose. Put three or four games on the wheel, check that everyone is happy to play any of them, and spin. For a more playful round, try the truth or dare wheel with editable prompts.
Choose a presenter, a team captain, or the person who picks the next song. The random name picker starts with names instead of activities. Remove the selected entry after each turn when your group wants to avoid repeats.
Add sketch subjects, writing ideas, or things to photograph. One spin can give you a starting constraint without planning the whole project. The random color wheel is a good companion when the subject is settled but your palette is still wide open.
Imagine a wheel with Walk, Read, Cook, and Draw. Each line has a one-in-four chance: 25%. Add Walk a second time and you now have five entries. Walk occupies two of them, so its combined chance becomes 40%; each other label has 20%. Duplicate labels are separate entries, not a formatting shortcut.
Keeping all entries makes each spin a new independent pick. Removing a winner changes the next draw because there are fewer choices left. Shuffle changes the order around the wheel, not the odds. Choose your rules before the first spin so everyone knows whether repeats are part of the game.
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Yes. All the features in this version are free to use, without an account.
Each non-empty line has the same chance on every spin. Repeating a label on several lines increases that label’s total chance. The animation shows the result chosen by your browser’s cryptographic random generator.
Changes are saved automatically in this browser when local storage is available. Share creates a link containing a copy of the current title and options. Anyone with that link can read them; edits made afterwards do not update an earlier link.
Use 2–100 non-empty lines, with up to 80 characters per entry. Short labels are easier to read on the wheel; the editor keeps the complete text. Blank lines are ignored. If only one entry remains after removals, it is the final option and there is nothing left to randomise.
Yes. Tap the Spin button or the centre of the wheel. Focus mode gives the wheel more room during a group activity. You can switch sound off, choose a light or dark site theme, and use Save image to download a PNG of the current wheel.
Browser saving stays on the browser and device you used. To move a list, open Share this wheel and copy the link to your other device. The link carries the title and entries, but not your result history. Keep a copy before clearing browser data.
