BOTH ENDS INCLUDED

Set your number range and spin

01

Choose a range

Set a whole-number minimum and maximum. The range can contain 2–100 numbers.

02

Generate and spin

Apply the range, then spin to pick one of the displayed numbers.

03

Decide on repeats

Remove each chosen number when you need different results across a round.

MORE THAN ONE TO TEN

A number picker for ranges and custom lists

The number wheel begins with the integers 1 to 10. Use the range controls to generate a different set of up to 100 consecutive integers, including negative numbers. You can also type a custom list, such as 5, 10, 15, and 20 on separate lines.

Use numbers to choose from a numbered reading list, select a game position, or decide which practice question to try next. Each listed number has the same chance unless you repeat it. Remove a result to draw without replacement; leave it in for independent repeated picks.

Put a random number to work

Numbers can stand for questions, game positions, or items on a list. Decide what the result will refer to before starting.

Choose from 1 to 100

Enter 1 in From and 100 in To, then press Apply range. The wheel contains exactly 100 entries. A smaller example, 20 to 30, contains 11 numbers because both endpoints are included. The number of entries is maximum minus minimum plus one.

Pick a practice question

Number the questions you want to practise and enter just those numbers. If you have already completed questions 2 and 7, leave them out. Remove each selected result as you go to work through the remaining questions without repeats.

Make a six-number game wheel

Generate a range from 1 to 6 for six equally likely results. Leave every number in place if you want independent rolls, including repeats. A wheel with one entry per number gives each result a one-in-six chance; changing the order does not change it.

Consecutive range or hand-picked numbers?

Use the range controls when you need every integer between two endpoints. Use the text editor for gaps, steps, or labels: 5, 10, 15, and 20 on separate lines create four possibilities. You can also type decimal labels such as 0.5 and 1.5, although the automatic range generator accepts whole numbers only.

Each spin selects from the entries currently visible in the editor. With 1–10 listed once, each number has a 10% chance. Removing one result leaves nine equal possibilities. If your numbers represent people, a random name picker can make the result easier for a group to follow.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Ranges, repeats, and number-wheel odds

Are both ends of the range included?

Yes. A range from 1 to 10 includes both 1 and 10, for ten possible results.

Can I use negative numbers?

Yes. The range generator accepts integers from −999,999 to 999,999, provided the range contains no more than 100 numbers.

Can the same number come up twice?

Yes. Keeping the number on the wheel lets it be selected again, even immediately. Use Remove winner for a draw without replacement. Once one number remains, it is the final choice and the spin button pauses until you add another entry.

Why is my range not accepted?

Choose whole-number endpoints from −999,999 to 999,999, with the maximum greater than the minimum and 2–100 numbers in total. A range from 1 to 100 works; 1 to 101 exceeds the entry limit. For a spaced list, enter individual numbers directly.
